Casting directors for television, film, commercials, theatre—even musical theatre—are all using self-tapes to see actors for a “first round” audition. You must learn the language of on-camera and how to master the art of the self-tape if want to work in television, film—even on Broadway.  

Enter Stef Tovar’s 4-Week Self-Tape and On-Camera Intensive

Geared toward helping you build a professional, in-home studio and execute a great self-tape that will book you jobs. The goal of the class is for you to be able to self-tape for commercials, episodic television, film and theater on your own—without needing to pay someone to tape your audition for you. You will also leave the class with a solid technique you can use on set as well. 

  • Over Zoom, students take a group class each week and master the art of a great self-tape, learning Stef’s on-camera technique: The MAP. 

  • Over the course of four weeks, you will work on co-star, commercial, and guest star copy, submitting weekly self-tapes.

  • Through limited small group experience, you will learn from watching others’ progress.

  • You will also get a weekly 30-minute private coaching with Stef — 1:1 to literally “zoom in” and hone your on-camera and self-tape skills.
